Bereans17 (“we”, “us”) operates bereans17.org. This policy describes what information the site handles and how.

What we collect

The site does not require an account and does not ask for personal information to browse. If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, and message you submit, and we use them only to respond to you.

Embedded YouTube videos

Episodes are embedded from YouTube in YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode, and the player itself loads only when you choose to play a video. Until then there is no video player on the page. When you do play one, YouTube (Google) may collect data as described in its own privacy policy. We collect no playback data ourselves.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not set cookies on your device when you browse it, and it runs no analytics or advertising trackers. There is no Google Analytics or equivalent installed, so we keep no record of who visits, what they read, or where they arrived from. WordPress sets cookies only for signed-in administrators of the site, which does not include visitors.

Two things do cause your browser to contact Google without any action from you. The typefaces are served by Google Fonts, so your browser requests them from Google on every page, and Google receives your IP address and browser details as part of that request. The still image shown for each episode is loaded from Google’s image servers in the same way, before you play anything.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties, except as required by law.
